She was a forerunner in the makeover genre with her two hit series Surprise Gardener and Outer Spaces on Home and Garden Television (HGTV). She also hosted over ten specials for HGTV including “White House Christmas Memories,” “The Look for Spring”,  Epcot International, and “The Making of the Rose Parade.” She has also become a favorite for on-air style advice and appears regularly as a lifestyle contributor on numerous network shows including NBC’s Today, ABC’s The View, Oprah, Access Hollywood,  CNN and Fox.
